October 5 - International Teachers' Day is celebrated in ADAU

The Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) held an event dedicated to International Teachers' Day on October 5.

At an event in the Faculty of Agronomy, a minute of silence was observed in memory of our Shehids who gave their lives for the freedom of our lands. Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy, Associate Professor Aynur Hasanova congratulated the teachers who play an invaluable role in our education. She said that the COVID-19 pandemic created a different situation worldwide, but also had a negative impact on education. In recent years, the discontinuation of education, training and moral education in all educational institutions and the transition to online learning have made it difficult to acquire practical knowledge and skills. A. Hasanova said that it is a pleasure to congratulate our teachers on October 5th - International Teacher’s Day.

The event was addressed by Dunya Isayeva, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy, Professor Azad Bayramov, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Multiculturalism, Fateh Aliyev, Said Musazade and Javanshir Rafigolu, teachers and students of the Ege University of Turkey.

In the end, the students read poems dedicated to the teachers.
