The Rector of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ASAU), Zafar Gurbanov, met with a group of students from the Faculties of Agronomy and Engineering who are enrolled in the SABAH groups.
During the meetings, discussions focused on further improving the quality of the teaching and learning process within the SABAH groups, increasing student involvement in scientific research activities, applying innovative approaches, and strengthening integration with industry.
It was emphasized that the primary objective of the SABAH groups is to train specialists with high academic performance, strong analytical thinking skills, and well-developed practical competencies. In this regard, supporting student initiative, encouraging participation in startup and innovation projects, and expanding opportunities for involvement in international experience programs are considered priority areas.
During the meeting, questions of interest to the students were addressed, and their proposals and initiatives were heard. In conclusion, the Rector highlighted that the university administration remains committed to student-centered governance principles and will continue to implement consistent measures aimed at continuously improving the quality of education.
