Representatives of the “Golden West” company visited ADAU

The leadership of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) held a meeting with representatives of the “Golden West” company.

The meeting was attended by Ismayil Yilmaz, manager for Turkic States of the “Golden West” company, which operates in the field of research and development, production and distribution of seeds of vegetables and field crops, and Mustafa Onurcan Ateş, manager for cotton products.

First, the rector of the university, Zafar Gurbanov, welcomed the guests and provided detailed information about the activities of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. The rector noted that ADAU is the country's leading higher education institution in the training of qualified personnel in the agricultural sector, and special importance is attached to the formation of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Zafar Gurbanov said that one of the main goals of the university is to expand scientific-research and production relations, to apply innovative approaches that serve the development of the agricultural sector. In this regard, cooperation with a company with international experience such as Golden West is of great importance.

During the meeting, the prospects for mutual cooperation were discussed between the parties. The importance of joint activities in areas such as increasing the practical knowledge of students, conducting scientific-research work in the field of seed production, and organizing exchange of experience was emphasized.

Finally, a promotional video of the university was shown and a preliminary agreement on mutual cooperation was reached.

Then, the guests visited the Faculty of Agronomy and the Seed Production Laboratory of the University.
