A cooperation agreement has been signed between ADAU and Ankara University

Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) and Ankara University signed the cooperation agreement and exchange program «Mevlana».

The documents were signed by the Rector of ADAU, a member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov and the Rector of Ankara University, Prof. Nejdet Unuvar. Speaking before the signing ceremony, the rectors and representatives of both universities stated that the cooperation agreement and the exchange program «Mevlana» would contribute to the training of specialists in veterinary medicine, Implementation of the programme of dual diploma and joint research, exchange of teachers and students.

Ankara University, the first higher education institution in the Republic of Turkey, was founded in 1946 and currently has more than 70,000 students. Along with other faculties, the university has faculties of agronomy and veterinary medicine, which train specialists in many disciplines.

It should be noted that the Rector of Ankara University, Professor, Dr. Nejdet Unuvar was awarded the Order of Friendship by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 4, 2020 for special services in the development of friendly relations and cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey.
