ADAU team visited the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Gunay Abbasova and Jeyhuna Hajiyeva, assistants of Department of Ecology of Agronomy Faculty of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU), PhD in agricultural sciences Dunya Isayeva and Mina Mammadova, senior lecturers of General Agriculture, Genetics and Selection Department were on a business trip from March 1 to 5 to one of the biggest agricultural and multidisciplinary higher education institutions of Europe, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Natural Sciences (MATE) in Gödöllö, Hungary.

On the first day of her visit, Zsuzsanna Tarr, head of the international relations department at MATE, welcomed the ADAU staff and informed them that over the past century centers of agricultural and pedagogical knowledge in Mate have developed in combination with economics, social sciences, arts and humanities, and have attracted students according to their agricultural traditions.

On March 2, the researcher in the field of agronomy Melinda Mathe spoke about studying the effects of mineral fertilizer on crop development, structure and balance of grain crops by applying effective rates to cereals. Then researcher Melinda Mathe and ERASMUS + coordinator Papp Szilvia talked about the use of biohumus in the field to increase the plant productivity.

The next day, Szilvia Molnar, director of the MATE University Library, presented the library to ADAU staff. Each participant read materials relevant to their research work.

On March 4, ERASMUS+ Coordinator Papp Szilvia and Center for External Relations and Coordination Director Lasla Mathe met and stressed the importance of advancing the science of agricultural economics and the application of economic organizations.

On the last day of the trip, certificates were presented to the staff members.
