Our national leader Heydar Aliyev noted that our flag is a symbol of our statehood and independence. On the occasion of upcoming National Flag Day we sincerely congratulate all the Azerbaijani people, including President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and wish him prosperous life and happy days. Our flag is our soul, our heart. The national flag is flown today in every corner of Azerbaijan. Under leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev we are sure that our territorial integrity will be restored soon and national flag will be hoisted on this land.

The events on the occasion of National Flag Day started at the Faculty of Agronomy. The students of the first year with the participation of Rector of ADAU, correspondent member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov in front of the academic building demonstrated our flag, which is the national flag.
