Free advanced training started at Agricultural University

Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) has launched free training courses in agronomy, veterinary medicine and agricultural engineering within the framework of the project «Upgrading of knowledge and skills of specialists working in the agricultural sector»

The Rector of the University, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov, said that the project aims to improve the practical knowledge and skills of specialists in the fields of agronomy, veterinary medicine and agricultural engineering.

Employees of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency, State Centers for Agricultural Development, JSC «Azershakar», JSC «MF Veterinary» and a number of organizations and enterprises, graduates of ADAU and farmers engaged in business activities participate in the project.

Stressing the importance of such courses, the experts noted that the University had created a great opportunity to organize a tractor-machinery park, modern training centres, animal husbandry complexes, a veterinary clinic, a slaughterhouse, a poultry breeding centre, A training centre for artificial insemination, training courses in this field.

Please note that refresher courses are free of charge. Project participants have been provided with free accommodation in the university dormitory. Certificates will also be awarded to participants who successfully complete the course.
