Shehid soldier Sultanzade Niyameddin Husameddin oglu

Shehid-soldier Niyameddin Husameddin oglu Sultanzade was born on 10 September 1998 in the Masalli city. In 2005-2016 he studied at the secondary school No. 1 in the Masalli city. After graduating from high school in 2016-2017, he served in the N-th military unit of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.

Since October 10, 2018, he worked as an operator of chlorinator and water purification plants in Masalli Water Utility of the Regional Management of Water Channel No. 3.

He was a second-year distant learning student of the Faculty of Agronomy of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).

Niyameddin Husameddin oglu Sultanzade,a shehid soldier of the Azerbaijan Army, fought courageously against the enemy in the battles for the Fizuli and Jebrail districts during the Patriotic War launched by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on 27 September 2020 for the liberation of the territories occupied by Armenia, and died heroically in the battles for Gubadli.

He was buried on November 22, 2020 in Dadva Cemetery in Masalli.

Niyameddin Husameddin oglu Sultanazade was awarded (posthumously) with "For the Homeland","the Brave Fighter", "for the liberation of Jebrail" and "for the liberation of Gubadli" medals by orders of President Ilham Aliyev for the conscientious performance of his official duties in carrying out the tasks assigned to the military unit in order to ensure the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.


Today in the Masalli city the commemoration ceremony was held on the anniversary of the death of Niyameddin Husameddin oglu Sultanzadeh, a 44-day shehid-soldier of the Patriotic War.

Head of Masalli District Executive Power Shahin Mammadov, heads of enterprises and organizations, employees of State Service on Mobilization and Conscription of Masalli region, activists of Masalli District NAP Organization, management staff of Azersu OJSC, families of shehids, veterans, city residents and representatives of various media outlets took part in the commemoration ceremony.

The family of the Shehid soldier Niyameddin Sultanzade, residents of the city expressed deep gratitude to the victorious Supreme Commander-in Chief Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention and care have always been shown to them.

The ceremony participants visited the grave of the shehid in the cemetery. They honoured his memory and laid live flowers on his grave. The speeches referred to memories of a shehid, said that Niyameddin would not be forgotten and would always live in hearts.
